Privacy Policy

Privacy built around dealer trust.

Last updated: 2026-08-01. This policy explains what LotIQ Auto collects and how it is used. It should be reviewed by legal counsel before public commercial launch.

Data we collect

Dealer profile details, owner and employee contact details, vehicle inventory, VIN/chassis numbers, plates, invoices, costs, sales records, billing records, audit logs, support messages, and technical logs.

How we use data

To provide the dealer workspace, authenticate users, scope data by dealer, calculate inventory and sales statistics, process subscription billing, send requested notifications, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

Website analytics

To understand demand and improve LotIQ, we record the page visited, visit time, language, referring website, safe campaign labels such as source, medium, campaign, and placement, coarse browser and device type, the visitor IP address, and an approximate country. When country enrichment is enabled, IPinfo processes the IP address to estimate the country. Exact IP addresses are automatically erased after 30 days, while country-level and other analytics records may be retained for up to 13 months. Advertising click identifiers such as fbclid and full user-agent strings are not stored. A protected one-way identifier estimates unique visitors, obvious bots are excluded, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected, and reports are available only to authenticated platform administrators.

Workspace security logs

For account security and accountability, LotIQ records successful sign-ins, failed attempts against known accounts, sign-outs, account exports, and business changes. A record may include the date and time, user name, role and email, request route, IP address, approximate country, and coarse browser and device type. Passwords and submitted form contents are never written to the audit log. Exact audit IP addresses are erased after 90 days; the remaining event record may be retained for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance. Audit details are limited to permitted dealer roles and authenticated platform administrators.

Who can access data

Dealer users see data according to their role. Platform administrators may access data for support, security, billing, and maintenance. We do not sell dealer inventory or customer data.

Payments

Payment checkout may be handled by Ziina or another payment provider. LotIQ should not store full card numbers. Payment status, invoices, and provider references may be stored for billing records.

Retention and account deletion

When an owner requests account deletion, the workspace becomes read-only immediately and can be restored for 30 days. After that recovery window, access is disabled. Account records are retained securely for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, and recovery purposes unless applicable law requires otherwise.
